Fauna
Alaska from North to South. Started flying in a small plane from Fairbanks to Kaktovik, a town of 238 beyond the Artic Circle, known for the polar bears that visit and scavenge whale carcasses on closeby sea gravel dunes. Then drove from Fairbanks to the Denali National Park, and in it to the Denali (McKinley) peak area. Continued my way to Anchorage, and then from Anchorage to Homer, in the South. Took a water taxi from Homer to the Seldovia Park, and stayed in McDonald's Spit, full of bautiful landscapes, bald eagles, and otters. Finally drove back from Homer to Anchorage, where I took a plane to Seatlle, then to Atlanta, and finally back to Havana. This gallery is dedicated mainly to mammals and birds, with just a crazy example of a medusa stranded during low tide at McDonalds Spit at the end.
