Doors of Cuba: Havana (2016-2018)
In 2003, while doing street photography in Havana, I fell in love with the fantastic world of our house doors. Striking wood and iron works, contrasting colors, textures, resourceful solutions due to scarcity of resources, contexts, all still impress me every day I go out to shoot. With time, I have expanded this documentary and artistic photography work to other Cuban cities and towns. During post-capture processing, I increase the saturation of the original colors to achieve a more dramatic and painting-style effect on these images. What you will see in this particular gallery is the result of work I have done in Havana in this theme from 2016 to the present date.
