Zapata Swamp and Cienfuegos April 2019
Selection of street and landscape photography (b/w an color) done in Zapata Swamp and Cienfuegos as part of the program of a Santa Fe Photographic Workshop (April 25-May the 3rd) , where I served as co-instructor with Jennifer Spelman. The workshop started in Zapata Swamp, at the house of Bernabé, in the town of Pálpite, where we saw the mighty bee hummingbird, the smallest in the World . Then drove to the town of Soplillar, where we visited charcoal producers and their families. Later that afternoon we moved on to Cienfuegos, and on April 27 we drove to Trinidad. The workshop ended in Havana (see other galleries in this same Folder). Sample images in this gallery are all low resolution. Full resolution photos will soon be incudluded in the "Cuba Beyond Havana" folder of this site, under Cienfuegos and Zapata Swamp, respectively.
