Cojímar fishing base
The fishing base of the town of Cojímar, East of Havana, is a great place for textures and colors. Fishermen have deployed dozens of shacks, many made out of ship containers, to store their gear. The base, a private cooperative, has more than 200 boats and some 400 fishermen. They have their own workshops where boats are repaired or rebuilt. The base is located by the Cojímar river, that ends in the small bay of the town with the same name.
